How it works: IP Phones use
the fact that every time you connect to the Internet you are assigned a unique number or
IP address (see our IP information section) With Most ISP this number is different every
time you log on to your ISP, But with a static IP address option you can have a number
that's always the same. This means that just like your home, and business phone number
another IP phone user can call you when you are on line using the same number every time.
INDIVIDUAL UNIQUE STATIC IP, OPTION:
This feature is very popular. Since most ISP's do not offer static IP's to their customers
and virtually none at this low cost! A few of the reason you would need a Static IP
Address is if you wish to turn your computer into some sort of server, or if you want the
convenience of knowing that every time you connect to your ISP, you're going to use the
same IP address. A Static IP Address would allow you to give out one address to everyone,
and they could then use that address to connect to your server while you were connected to

actual IP Phone software is free, and phone calls made using IP technology are free for PC

IP Phone Software:
BuddyPhone is a fantastic utility that lets you
place phone calls over the Internet at no additional charges. It has a slick, simple to
use interface and offers high audio quality. You can use buddyPhone in conjunction
with Mirabilis' ICQ, and all of your ICQ contacts will automatically appear in your call
menu. ICQ is not required, however, and buddyPhone is a full-featured call management
system in its own right. It can auto-answer, block calls, and much more - it can even work
as an answering machine. You make calls by connecting directly to another user's IP
address (buddyPhone includes an amenity that will tell you what your IP address is so
other users can contact you). Alternatively, buddyPhone can use an email address, and try
to resolve the user's IP from there. BuddyPhone offers some nice graphical options as
well; you can set to stay on top of all open windows, use different "skins" to

What if your ISP service is not
available in my area or the people I want to call or have call me don't have your
ISP service. Yes it will still work, it just a little more complicated. The easiest way
when one of the parties does not have our Internet Service with static IP option is for
that party to place the call. Also Note that our Internet service is one of the fastest
